MELTING THE FREEZE

FREE Live Workshop Sharing Practical Tools for Staying Present Under Pressure

Join us for “Melting The Freeze”, a practical workshop designed to help you understand and overcome the freeze response that is holding you, and your clients, back.

Typically reserved for our private clients, this $450-value live virtual workshop is now available to select members of our community – for free.

Humans and animals share some key physiological systems that are powered by instincts. Danger today may look a lot different than it did over the arc of our evolution, but how our system responds to danger remains fundamentally the same.

This is a live, interactive workshop for men.

Don’t live at the mercy of your freeze response.

Learn how to mobilize the wisdom already living in your body to Melt The Freeze.

When you are unable to fend off, or flee from a perceived threat, you might subconsciously employ a freeze response. That may look like checking out, dissociating, or a full shutdown. Whether you’re out in nature, at home, or at work, this feature of your survival response becomes activated and you begin to disconnect from the world around you, and the world within.

In this online event, we'll explore the freeze response from a scientific perspective, and break down how this natural physiological reaction can interfere with our daily lives. We'll share evidence-based, somatic solutions to a common problem that affects even the most successful men.

Recognize the conditions that activate a freeze response, and learn about what occurs in your body during this reaction.

Practice effective skills for releasing pent-up tension caused by freezing, and uncover what may be laying hidden, behind the detatchment.

Apply your natural abilities to break free from the cycle of threat and survival that perpetuates this response.

Since Stephen Porges first proposed the Polyvagal Theory in 1994, its basic idea―that the level of safety we feel impacts our health and happiness―has radically shifted how researchers and clinicians approach trauma interventions and therapeutic interactions, offering a straightforward explanation for the mysterious "freeze" response that people experience in moments of stress or duress.
